WHAT IS 3D AREOLA TATTOOING AND RESTORATION?
3D Areola Tattooing and Restoration is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure that brings a touch of artistry to your journey after surgeries like mastectomies or breast reconstruction. Our team of experienced artists works their magic, using advanced tattooing techniques to create realistic, three-dimensional areolas that look and feel natural. This process not only enhances the aesthetic of your nipples but also helps boost your confidence, making you feel like the incredible individual you are!

We will walk you through the entire process, explain your options to you, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Our goal is to create an individualized plan that works well for you so you feel empowered in your body and choices.
CONSULTATION
We will start with a (free!) consultation (in-person or virtual) where we’ll discuss your goals and medical history, and answer any questions you have. We’ll also look at photos, ensure clearance from your surgeon, discuss pricing, and make a customized plan.
SCHEDULE YOUR PROCEDURE
If you’re ready to move forward after your consultation, we’ll get your appointment scheduled! You can expect your Areola Tattooing and Restoration appointment to take approximately 2-3 hours.
THE PROCEDURE
During the 3D Areola Tattooing and Restoration procedure, we employ medical micropigmentation to bring back the color, size, and shape of the areola—no surgical nipple bud required. While the skin remains flat, the tattooing creates the illusion of a protruding nipple, delivering a beautifully realistic result that enhances your overall appearance. We also offer 4D Areola Tattooing and Restoration which applies the same techniques to a surgically reconstructed nipple bud.
TOUCH-UP
About 8-12 weeks later, you’ll come in for a touch-up appointment to ensure everything is perfect after your tattoo has healed. This appointment is optional but highly recommended. Please note that you can always come back for additional touch-ups beyond the 8-12-week touch-up at an additional cost.

As a nurse-owned clinic, we are deeply familiar with the complexities of the prior authorization process and can guide you on how to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
